kontener Main sector of activity of the TRANSMID company are all types of technical works including displacement, transport and positioning of heavy machines and devices. We have over 15 years of experience in this field. Our basic activities are:

relocation of machines: bringing machines in or out of buildings, and also moving them inside plants and production halls
unloading machines delivered by producers and other suppliers
loading machines destined for delivery onto Trucks and into containers
packing machines destined for sea transport
dismantling and scrapping of machines
comprehensive industrial moves of production plants including their disassembly, assembly and connection to the media

In 2012, we extended the scope of our possibilities by adding services in disassembly or assembly of multilevel machines and devices, e.g. printing machines. These works are carried out with the aid of a hydraulic lift system which has a 100-ton load capacity. It is indispensable during the unloading of heavy machines at their installation places in production halls if conditions prevent the execution of such works using a standard crane or a forklift. Thanks to its compact construction and electric drive it is adjusted for work inside production halls, especially in places with high congestion of machines. It can be used for placing machines in hollows, multilevel assembly of components or alignment of presses.

We are specialized in horizontal and vertical transport, also when the difference in levels is significant. We are able to move devices using stairways or fit them through windows. We own a transport ramp constructed for this purpose which can move loads of up to 30 tons in weight. We can adjust it to various conditions and levels ranging from 1 to 10 meters. We are equipped with all types of trolleys, roller conveyors, levers, linkages, jacks and other accessories enabling horizontal movement of devices weighing up to 70

tons. Thanks to mobile platforms suspended from the crane we can transport to various heights, and move into buildings, loads weighing even 8 tons. You can find information about our equipment in the Equipment/For moving of machines tab.

We also have an extension of our activities in form of a metal-working and welding workshop, thanks to which we adjust our equipment to every device we move and to any of the customer’s transport conditions. We are also able to construct and make all kinds of ramps, catwalks, platforms and facilities enabling driving upwards or downwards, suited for the individual order.

Apart from that, we provide all kinds of services involving unloading and loading devices to/from cars, and unloading machines and devices from containers. We carry out the works in the manner recommended by the producer, using a crane or a forklift. At present we have at our disposal forklifts with up to 16-ton load capacity and different kinds of cranes equipped with specialized slings, traverses and other facilities indispensable for the execution of this type of commissions. Our unit consists of lorries with load capacity ranging from 1 to 25 tons. Most of them are equipped with HDS cranes which have from 2 to 20-ton load capacity. The specific character of our vehicles does not require an additional crane for loading devices weighing up to 15 tons, which results in reduced costs of provided services.

Meeting the expectations of our clients, we have extended our services to packing machines for export and loading them into containers. We prepare devices for sea transport and protect them from moisture using methods that comply with the specificity of the transported property, time of the transport and the destination.
